SAVE ENVIRONMENT WITH 3 R'S

 

 

Proje hakkında

It is a project focused on developing knowledge, skills and positive attitudes on how to save environment with 3R's (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)by raising ecological awareness of students, teachers and parents in order to contribute to protect the planet.

 

HEDEFLER

- Raising awareness of Students,Teachers and Parents for 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)
-increasing ecological literacy
- being aware of personal and social responsibility regarding climate change and environmental challenges
- researching possible solutions to environmental issues with 3R's
-having sustainable lifestyle thanks to 3R's activities
- improving knowledge and the use of ICT as a communication tool
- learning to work collaboratively within working groups with other nationalities
- fostering cooperation in international groups, to communicate in English.

 

ÇALIŞMA SÜRECI

 September: Logo, Poster and Logo Results
 October: Students' research on words related to Climate Change and Environmental Changes
-Learning the environmental words by creating individual and collective mind maps from global warming and water planet videos
- Our Work at the Coding Week for Protecting the Environment for the Project
 November: Making recycling bins in schools to save energy
-Reviewing global warming poetry with partners to draw attention to climate change
-participate in the 11 Million Tree planting event created in Turkey
 December: Reusing activity
-Environmental Benefits of Reusing, going on zero waste
 January
Preparing New Year Cards Using 3Rs
 February: Creating Reducing Mixed Country Teams
- creating activities according to Reduce principle in home school environment and classroom and adopting Zero Waste principle
 March
-Carbon footprint activities
- Creating Posters about water to raise awareness on Climate Change for World Water Day
 April
-To talk about the effects of tree planting activities on the environment and climate
-Preparing posters on Why the mask is important for Covid
 May
-Preparing games about 3R's and climate change and environmental changes to raise the awareness of the Project.
-Writting common story on Saving the Planet with 3Rs and Climate Change in the scope of Climate Change, Environmental Challenges, Energy Saving, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Sustainable Development Goals.
 June
-For the World Environment Day, the works to prevent environmental pollution and climate change in the air-water-soil team consisting of mixed country teams are exhibited in virtual environment due to covid 19.
-Creation Dictionary of Ecological Literacy by the Project Students

 

BEKLENEN SONUÇLAR

1. Environmental awareness of students, teachers and parents will increase.
2. Ecological Literacy of Students will broaden
3. Pupils will learn to protect their natural resources. They will encourage both themselves and their families to save the environment.
4. Sustainable Lifestyle will be adopted.
5. ICT skills of the students will improve.
6. Linguistic competence will be improved thanks to different nationalities
